| Hello... Does anyone know of any Christian artists using truly indigenous Hawaiian chants for Christian worship? Has anyone, for instance, composed or adapted a creation chant so that the music is the older, "pre-missionary" style, but the text is from a Christian perspective? Kawika Kahiapo's CD "Alana" has a Pule (prayer) with a chant and prayer by Chinky Mahoe. |
