My family lived in the last house on N Road, Damon Tract. We had to move to Kalihi Valley because the the airport expansion. Anyone out there know any of the Dijos family? I just got back from vacation in Honolulu and visited my uncle Vincente Dijos. I would also be interested in locating an old map of Damon Tract. |

I lived on the corner of Kamaaina and K Rd. I used to hang out with the M Rd. gang with Sonny Pascual the wrestler, Felix Canyon, Boyboy Caracoal and Lefty Quiocho and Francis Baricuatro. I went to Kaloaloa School. My Hawaiian teacher was Mr. Hoopii. |

My grand parents lived on P Road in Damon Tract from prior to the War until the expansion of the airport in the 1960s. I spen many Sunday afternoons in Damon Tract, playing out in what seemed to be a big year, picking and eating mangoes from a big old mango tree. |

We lived next to that scarey building with the one eye in the middle! Our family is having our first reunion after all these years and looking for pictures of that building and/or monumental areas of Damon Tract. My brothers and cousins went to Kaloaloa School which I didn't quite have the honor of attending because of changing residency. If you'd like to share your experience and/or photos, I would greatly appreciate any information. Mahalo. |
