Does anyone know where I can find Charlie Kealoha? Awhile back while visiting Oahu he was performing at the Hawaiian Waikiki Beach Hotel, and when my husband and I came back, the hotel turned into a Marriott and nobody knew where to find Charlie Kealoha? He is a true treasure and we would appreciate any help from any who may know!

Charlie is performing three or four nights a week at the Venandah Lounge at the Keahou Beach Outrigger Hotel in Kona on the big Island. If anyone knows of a source for one of his cassettes recorded in New York around 1970, I would appreciate any information available. It includes the song "Hawaii, I Love You So" written by Charlie.

Regards,

Bill

Aloha Bill,
I read your e-mail inquiry and wanted you to know that Charlie is no longer at the Keauhou Beach Hotel but he is entertaining at the Royal Kona Resort in Kailua-Kona. If you are still interested in the tape let us know. He is my husband and can be contacted through our e-mail address above.
Aloha,
Chris Kealoha

To anyone who may know,

I have tried to find Charlie Kealoha with no success. I recently moved back to Oahu from the mainland and can't find him singing anywhere! If anyone knows where I can find him or his family please leave a message for me. His music is one of the things I came back to Hawaii to enjoy, Charlie if you are out there sing real loud and I swear I'll hear you. You have a great voice and always made us smile! Be well.

I am Charlie's brother, living in England. Again after a visit two years ago to Hawaii I am no longer able to find or contact him.

Charlie or Chris if you're out there. We're family. We, all the Kealoha's in England and Sean over in Kauai would like to hear from you both and know you are well.

Please contact us.

Your brother Alex xx

Is Al Kealoha Perry relater to Charlie kealoha?
I have a set of records from 1946, that feature Al Kealoha and his Singing Surfriders.
It is a 3 record set on the Decca label published in 1946.
the title is, Hilo Hattie
" A character synonymous with Hawaii. made famus by Clar Inter."
some of the song titles are ukulele Lady, The pigdin english hula, King Kamehameha , When Hilo Hattie does the Hilo Hop
A of the song credits says it was written by Johnny Noble.
Any information on this recording would be apprciated.

Is this the same Charlie Kealoha that played in Waikiki at Trader Vics during the mid 1980's? If so, I would appreciate getting a copy of his casette (if not CD). My family and I were in Hawaii during that time and I got the fortunate opportunity to sing with Charlie at that venue. I was only 12 years old at the time. My grandmother (whose since passed on) adored him and I really enjoyed my time at his show. Can anyone help me with this? How to get in touch with him?
